Character Name: Alex Stralington
Gender: male
Background: Alex was born into a rather poor family. His father was a risky jockey who didn't get many jobs because of his anger issues. They lived near Arlington Park, so Alex went to watch as many races as possible. Once when wandering the stables, he was yanked aside and told to tack up the horse in five minutes; the groom had gotten sick. He did so, and well, so he was hired as the groom. He got bumped up the ranks easily, and when he was twenty four, he got a job as an assistant trainer for that stable. Later, when the trainer passed, he was granted the trainer's position. Soon, though, the stable went bankrupt due to lack of yearlings, and Alex had to move on.
He went to work in the city, but hated it, and quit his job to go find work at another stable. Easily he found a job, and wondered why he hadn't gone there in the first place. He managed the stable for quite awhile before deciding he should take charge and start up his own stable with the bunches of money he had earned previously.
Personality: Alex is very laid-back for an owner and likes to joke around. He is very outgoing and pretty friendly. Sometimes he tends to spread himself too thin and doesn't know who is really his friend and who is just, well, there. At times like these he turns to his horses and uses them as an escape into his own world. Then he becomes quiet.
Alex is not what you would call greedy, but he can get a little aggrivated if his stable gets on a losing streak. If you don't want to cooperate, he doesn't have time for you, because behind the relaxed face there is a world of stress and confusion. He's not one for dating, because this just ads more stress and more commitments to his life.
Height: 6'
Hair Color: Expresso - Because he doesn't care about his appearances that much, he's never even considered highlights or dying his hair.
Eye Color: teal
Skin Tone: natural tan - He's never been one to have freckles.
Hair Length: He has a classic boy's cut except longer at two to three inches. It is fairly thick, but he keeps it clean and combed. He does not like to put gel in it ever, and is pretty conservative.
Photo: na
School Clique: He kind of drifted between each one. He played football for a while so was in the jocks, then dropped it to focus on academics wich put him in geeks, but was always nice to girls so that classified him as a gentleman.
Popular in School? Not neccessarily, but wasn't a total dork either.
List anything else: He is twenty eight years old.
